What is GMA, Golden Melody Awards (金曲獎Jīn qǔ jiǎng)?

The Golden Melody Awards (金曲獎), often referred to as the "Grammys of Mandarin-speaking music world", is an annual music awards event in Taiwan that honors outstanding achievements in the Mandarin, Taiwanese Hokkien, Hakka, and indigenous pop music industries. It is awarded annually by the Ministry of Culture of Taiwan to recognize outstanding achievements in the Taiwanese and Mandarin pop music industry. The awards were first presented in 1990, and the 35th Golden Melody Awards will be held on June 29, 2024, at the Taipei Arena. The ceremony will be broadcast live on television and online.

"At the Moment"(此時此刻) is latest taiwanese drama now available on Netflix! "At the Moment" is not only directed by four directors, but also invited 10 bands and singers to create their own songs for each unit of the story in order to make the story and emotions of the movie even more fulfilling. In order to make the story and emotions of the movie more satisfying, ten groups of bands and singers were invited to create an exclusive single song for each episodeof the story, so that we can satisfy our visual and auditory senses at the same time! What's more, the cast of 20 actors/actresses is one of distinctive features of this drama because they are currently most famous entertainers in Taiwan.

When it comes to well-known industries in Taiwan, many people's first impression would be semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, medicine, and machinery industries. However, some percentage of Taiwanese people are working in labor-intensive jobs in construction fields, and specific percentage of workers have been suffering physically and psychologically from long working hours and hazordous working environments with weak occuapation safety measures. The writer, 林立青 (Línlì qīng), and the director,Fen Fen Cheng(鄭芬芬), noticed this situation and wrote this novel/filmmed this drama to convey the message to the public about the situation these workers are confronting with.
