Siri Lee(李竺芯) is one of the biggest winner at the 36th Golden Melody Awards(GMA, 金曲獎) in 2025, taking home three major awards for her debut Taiwanese(Hokkien)-language album, Suí(水).

Major Awards Won

  • Album of the Year(年度專輯獎): This is one of the highest honors at the Golden Melody Awards, and her album Suí stood out among many excellent works.
  • Best Taiwanese Album(最佳台語專輯獎): The album Suí was praised by the judges for its return to creative roots and for being full of surprises.
  • Best Taiwanese Female Singer(最佳台語女歌手獎): For her outstanding performance on this album, Lana Lee beat several veteran Taiwanese singers, winning the award on her very first nomination.

Siri Lee’s Musical Style


Siri Lee’s music has been highly acclaimed because she breaks the traditional mold of Taiwanese(Hokkein) songs, creating a unique and distinctive style. She combines Taiwanese vocabulary with diverse musical genres such as French chanson, jazz, and psychedelia, presenting an elegant, light, and exotic flair in her songs.

The core concept of the Suí album revolves around “women and self-exploration.” Through her music, she conveys the idea that “beauty cannot be defined,” encouraging everyone to let go of external opinions and follow their own “flow” to become the mainstream.

Additionally, Siri Lee gained widespread attention for her “Taiwanese-French Class” short videos on social media, where she humorously teaches French using the Taiwanese dialect. Her authenticity and unique charm were also on full display at the Golden Melody Awards ceremony, where she took off her shoes and went barefoot on stage to accept her awards, becoming a popular topic of the night.

About Siri Lee


Siri Lee, whose real name is 李竺芯(Li Zhu-xin), was born in Tainan(台南) in 1989. She showed musical talent from a young age, participating in various music competitions and impressing judges with her unique Taiwanese rock style on the reality show, The Music Director. In terms of her educational background, she graudated from Department of Radio & Television, National Taiwan University of Arts, Taipei. Moreover, before winning the Golden Melody Awards, she went through a period of hardship. She moved to Hualien and unexpected the short stay turned into ten years.

In Hualien, she found abundant sources of inspiration and released her depression and negative mindsets by plunging into waterfalls, walking barefoot over stones, and swimming naked in hidden spots . This experience made her music even more introspective and full of energy.

“In the past, I always wanted to become an outstanding singer. But after moving to Hualien, I let go of many things. When I learned to release them and follow the flow of the water, I was able to create my own current. From then on, I began to care less about many things,” she reflected.
