Mixer (麋先生 in Mandarin) is a Taiwanese band composed of five members: lead vocalist Wu Sheng-Hao(吳聖皓), acoustic guitarist Lin Tzu-An (林子安), electric guitarist Yu Po-Hsi(余柏羲), bassist Chang Yi-No(張以諾), and drummer Lu Yi-Fan(盧逸凡). The members are all friends who have known each other and played music together since they were students.
The band’s exuberant musical style, combined with their poetic and psychedelic lyrics, as well as the unique voice and dynamic stage performance of their lead singer, quickly grabbed significant attention in Taiwan over the past years. They were first nominated for the Best Band Award at the 25th Golden Melody Award(2014) with their debut album, Circus Movement(馬戲團運動 Mǎ xì tuán yùn dòng), and they won the award at that year as well.
Several members of Mixer have been playing music together since they were students, participating in various major campus music competitions across Taiwan and achieving remarkable results. In 2011, Tzu-An and Sheng-Hao were first noticed by a music-record company and released their first EP as the duo “Tzu-An Sheng-Hao(子安聖皓)” To enrich their performance styles, they later brought in Yi-No and Little B to join their live performances. Finally, with the addition of drummer Yi-Fan, they officially formed the band “Mixer” in October 2012.
Chronicle of Albums released
They released their debut album, Circus Movement(馬戲團運動), in June 2013. Mixer won the Best Band with this album on the 25th Golden Melody Award in 2014.

In 2016, their album, Humans without names《沒名字的人類》, was nominated for the Best Band Award at the 27th Golden Melody Awards. In October of the same year, they released their third album, Wild(野生). In 2016, Mixer was named the fourth most popular Taiwanese independent band by the online platform DailyReview(網路溫度計). On December 29, 2018, they held their first large-scale concert at the Sports Center of National Taiwan University. On October 8, 2020, they released their fourth album, Love Animals(嗜愛動物), and held a tour across northern, central, and southern Taiwan by the end of the year.
